Journal of Scientific Research: Dékamu Agropec
Vol. 2 No. 1 (2021)Scientific publication corresponds to the final stage of the scientific research process that begins with the planning of the study, continues with the execution and ends with the publication of the results. In the 19th and 20th centuries, the philosophy of positivism had a decisive influence on the process of scientific research, pointing out that only concrete, measurable and verifiable knowledge is scientific and therefore proposing a research method based on the observation of reality, hypothesis statement and the use of statistical tools. This paradigm allowed a great development of the basic natural sciences such as physics, chemistry and biology and of certain disciplines related to the biological sciences such as medicine and nursing. Today, the development of humanistic currents has allowed the generation of new theories and methodologies in the new science that have been enabling new openings in scientific research and in the development of new related disciplines has today shaped the existence of a complex world that its study it requires that, a complex thought (in the words of E. Morin) to know it, understand it and transform it.

Scientific Research Journal: Dékamu Agropec
Vol. 1 No. 2 (2020)The second issue of the scientific journal Dékamu Agropec is published under a worrying attack by covid-19 on the Awajun and Wampis native communities in the Amazon region of Peru; by the Vice Presidency of Research (VPI) of the Fabiola Salazar Leguía de Bagua National Intercultural University (UNIFSLB). A UNIFSLB research team, led by the undersigned, visited the Awajun communities located north of the city of Bagua in the middle of last year 2019, verifying in situ their fragile socioeconomic and sanitary situation as well as the lack of basic water services. drinking, electricity, sewerage and telephony of these populations; Obviously the problem is not recent, it is a sad situation in which our compatriots have found themselves since the 19th century when the declaration of the independence of Peru occurred, a historical fact from which supposedly it should have promoted the development of our country, including the of national ethnic groups, something that never really happened.

Scientific Research Journal: Dékamu Agropec
Vol. 1 No. 1 (2020)The current Organizing Committee of the Fabiola Salazar Leguía de Bagua National Intercultural University (UNIFSLB) proposed to the Ministry of Education, in June 2019, to publish the first scientific journal of the university at the beginning of 2020. Today, with approval, we attend to the presentation of the first number of the scientific publication of the UNIFSLB called Dékamu Agropec; dékamu is a term from the awajun language that means to know, knowledge. The choice of the term Dékamu by the Editorial Committee of the magazine constitutes a recognition of the Amazon language awajun, one of the most widely spoken by the original communities of Peru. Likewise, it represents an identification of the magazine with the reason for being of the UNIFSLB: interculturality. Interculturality implies the critical and creative confluence of the knowledge, know-how, practices, experiences and artistic manifestations of the original Awajun and Wampis communities of the north-eastern region of Amazonas with the knowledge, science, technology and art of the so-called "Western culture" predominant in Peru, from the perspective of solving the problems and needs of the mentioned ethnic groups that for years have lived in socio-economic and cultural marginalization.
